On Tuesday, October 5, 2010, the third annual Day of Hope and Leadership™ took place at Tosca Banquet Hall in Oshawa. This year’s professional development day was the best one yet! Dan Carter facilitated 5 speakers’ interpretations of “Living Your Legacy Today”. Guests were fully engaged in this interactive event and were challenged to follow the journey through each aspect of their life to discover, commit and achieve their own legacy statement.

(Oshawa) On Tuesday, October 5, 2010, the third annual Day of Hope and Leadership took place at Tosca Banquet Hall in Oshawa. This professional development day not only offered valuable information and great entertainment, it is also creating a legacy movement! The event raised over $52,000 and those proceeds help support the Hope Centre of Learning and the programs at the Oshawa Community Health Centre.
This year’s event surpassed all expectations. Dan Carter facilitated five dynamic speakers’ interpretations of “Living Your Legacy Today”. Dan Carter and all the speakers waived their fees for this incredible event. Guests were fortunate enough to have presentations by: Denise Marek, International Speaker and Author, Doug Schneider, International Speaker, Garth Johns, Leadership Professional, Todd Skinner, Business Coach & Business Thinker and Ian Hill, International Speaker and Advocate.
The $20 Challenge was presented again this year. Each guest received $20 and was challenged to give it away unconditionally to help someone in need. Many guests pooled their money together so they could give a larger sum away. The buzz this creates in the community is infectious!
